Near a leading technology park in Berlin-Adlershof, a student housing complex with ten new buildings was built on the campus of Humboldt University. Adjacent to the "village square," two four-story buildings house a student café, the rental office of the student village, a daycare center, a gym, a post office, and a laundry room, serving as the central hub. A relaxed pathway system leads to eight three-story residential buildings with spacious living areas. In total, 384 rooms are available for rent.

The residential complex had elevated requirements for energy-efficient building quality, meeting the KfW Efficiency House 40 standard. Key to this was optimized thermal insulation combined with highly efficient building services systems. A significant acoustic challenge was ensuring high-quality sound insulation, particularly at the connections of the apartment partition walls to the lightweight facade constructions. Special sound-absorbing measures were implemented in the communal areas of each building to ensure pleasant room acoustics corresponding to their use. Upon completion of the project, acceptance measurements for sound insulation and building airtightness were carried out by Müller-BBM Building Solutions.
