Making spaces audible – A research project on the sensory experience of spatial acoustic planning

What visualisation is to the eye, auralisation is to the ear: an acoustic simulation that makes rooms audible as early as the planning phase. The ‘Auralisation Explorer’ developed by Kai Heller as part of his master's thesis at TU Berlin makes it possible to interactively experience the acoustics of a room from different perspectives. The innovative tool creates completely new possibilities in the planning phase and allows everyone involved to directly understand acoustic concepts - whether in presentations, at exhibitions or for decision-making in spatial planning.

A jewel of musical culture: the Peter Kaiser Hall in Nendeln
