Former Nazi Structure Transformed into a Cultural Venue

The Congress Hall in Nuremberg is being transformed into a cultural venue: studios, rehearsal rooms and a new performance space for the Nuremberg State Theatre are being created. We will be responsible for the audiovisual system planning. Experience and communication rooms are being created, from foyers and rehearsal rooms to the technical connection of the new stage. Over 7,000 m² of cultural space is expected to be available for use by 2028.

Reopening of Heidelberg Town Hall

‘The acoustics are fantastic. You can really hear everything differently. I found it overwhelming.’ (Holger Schultze, Artistic Director of Heidelberg Theatre and Orchestra) Following extensive renovation, Heidelberg City Hall was officially reopened. The opening concert showcased the new acoustic quality of the Wolfgang Marguerre Hall. Around 2,400 guests attended. Photos and videos show impressions of the evening.

Opening of Therme Oberstdorf

With the opening of Therme Oberstdorf, a special place for rest and relaxation has been inaugurated. We supported the project with integrated building physics consulting and thermal simulations to ensure comfort, energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality were addressed and secured at an early planning stage. Congratulations to all project partners involved.

Europe's largest school sports hall

An eight-court sports hall with 4,400 m² of sports space and a modular hybrid design was built at the Berliner Ring school centre in Monheim am Rhein. A project video by the NUSSLI Group shows the dimensions and implementation of the hall. We supported the construction project in the areas of building and room acoustics as well as sound emission control.

Our Impressions from the 4th Climate Festival in Berlin

On 19 and 20 November, the 4th Climate Festival for the Building Transition took place at the STATION Berlin – two days filled with insights into sustainable construction, future-proof materials and strategies for mitigating the impacts of the climate crisis. Our Sustainability Department – represented by our DGNB auditors Andreas Welz, Matija Horvacki and Maximilian Mayr – attended the event and took away numerous impulses for our work.

Building in Existing Structures 2025 Prize Awarded

We are pleased about the award presented to the Diözesanmuseum Freising as part of the BBuilding in Existing Structures 2025 Prize. The Isarphilharmonie at Gasteig HP8 was likewise recognized in its respective category. The prize is presented by the Bavarian Chamber of Architects in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts and the Federal Foundation of Baukultur.

New Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz inaugurated

We congratulate the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz on its opening. Designed by plus3 Architekci, a new campus has been built on the site of a former brickworks – featuring concert and rehearsal halls, a student residence, and striking architecture described as “inscribed into the city like a musical instrument.”
