From September 8–10, our team attended the Auditorium Acoustics 2025 conference at the newly refurbished Bristol Beacon. Dr. Eckard Mommertz presented the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk as part of the “Active Acoustics” focus. Demonstrations of stage monitor loudspeakers, active acoustic systems, and spatial reverberation perception offered striking insights.

Congratulations to BEHNISCH ARCHITEKTEN and all nominees! We accompanied the transformation of the CASA – Action Sports Centre in Munich-Pasing from a listed industrial building into a multifunctional, climate-sensitive sports and meeting place in the areas of energy efficiency, sustainability, and building and room acoustics, and we are delighted about this wonderful recognition.

At a formal ceremony on Tuesday, the new multi-purpose riding hall at the Moritzburg State Stud was officially handed over to Stud Director Dr Kati Schöpke. Saxony’s Minister President Michael Kretschmer and other dignitaries described the project as a strong signal for the state’s equine sector. During the breeding and performance showcase, the hall impressed in particular with its acoustic qualities.

What does a future-ready school building look like? The MDR video on the 33rd Primary School on Schilfweg in Dresden offers insights into the planning, construction, and everyday use of the building. The modular timber structure was completed in 2023 and received the Saxon Timber Construction Prize. Müller-BBM Building Solutions was responsible for the building and room acoustics planning.

With the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Kirschgärten in Munich-Allach, one of the city’s most ambitious residential projects has officially begun. Mayor Dieter Reiter praised the new development as a “climate-neutral model district.” We are pleased to support the project throughout its multiple construction phases.

On the former Reemtsma site in Berlin-Schmargendorf, a new commercial courtyard quarter is taking shape: GoWest. The development will comprise 12 buildings and provide space for urban manufacturing, skilled trades, the creative industries, and services. On July 18, the topping-out ceremony took place.

After several years of construction, the listed palace on the Pfaueninsel in Berlin was reopened on 25 May with a colorful program of music, art, literature and artistry. For us, this marked the successful completion of a renovation project that was as sensitive as it was technically demanding.
