DAS | DAGA 2025 in Copenhagen – an acoustic highlight!

General

Last week we were at the 51st Annual Meeting for Acoustics (DAGA) – this time in the beautiful setting of Copenhagen in cooperation with the Danish Society for Acoustics (Dansk Akustisk Selskab, DAS for short). Also present: colleagues from our team and from our sister companies Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH, Müller-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme GmbH and BBM Testlab GmbH.

Our consulting engineers Anna Huber, Elias Hoffbauer, Eva Wassermann, Felix Beckmann and Linus Staubach were on site – and Eva gave her presentation “Practical Application of ISO 22955 for Acoustic Design in Open-Plan Offices”. More on this soon in our Focus section.

A new product highlight from the Müller-BBM Group was also presented:
AcoustiQ – for simple and precise acoustic measurements.

Knowledge was not only shared in lectures: At the Young DEGA “Speed Dating” event, our colleagues, together with numerous specialist representatives, were on hand to answer questions from interested young people – about career paths, everyday project work and everything that makes up the professional field.

The varied lecture program ranged from room and building acoustics to fascinating insights into the underwater world – such as the echolocation of whales.

Finally, we used our stay to experience the acoustics of the DR Koncerthuset – designed by Pritzker Prize winner Jean Nouvel. An impressive listening experience and the perfect ending.

Conclusion: inspiring, networking, acoustically diverse.
Thanks to everyone who shared their impressions, asked questions and exchanged ideas with us!
