On 30 January, the MBBM BSO team gave students exciting insights as part of the IKOM Bau 2024 at the Technical University of Munich. Another highlight is imminent: on 14 March, the headquarters in Planegg will open its doors for a practical day that will bring all six specialist areas to life.
Yesterday, Dr Andreas Meier (Building Acoustics), Lukas Landthaler (Building Physics), Maren Sturm (Building Climatology) and Sybil Ammon-Hochrainer (Fire Protection) visited IKOM Bau 2024 to talk to the students about technical issues and interesting career opportunities at Müller-BBM. They also explained in detail what our dodecahedron is all about.
A pleasant highlight was the visit to our stand by Prof Müller, the son of the founder of Müller-BBM and Vice President of the Technical University of Munich!
On 14 March, the practical day at our headquarters in Planegg offers another opportunity to get to know us and all six departments better.
On this day, we will open our doors at our headquarters in Munich and give students an insight into building physics, sustainable construction, acoustics, audiovisual system planning and fire protection. The focus will be on practical insights, getting to know the dedicated team and information on a wide range of entry and career opportunities, internships, thesis supervision and working student jobs.

Visualising building physics with a state-of-the-art thermographic camera
Digital planning 2.0 in the building climate test bench
Live measurements in the reverberation chamber like a professional
Insight into the fascinating world of concert halls and room acoustics
Focus on digitalisation: “The house of knowledge” (Audiovisual system design)
Game of concepts in fire protection
The theme parkour offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Müller-BBM Building Solutions. Our specialist team will be available to answer questions throughout the day.
