From 16 to 20 September 2025, the nationwide Week of Climate Adaptation will take place across Germany. The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUKN) and the Climate Adaptation Center will host a week of events focusing on heat protection, water management, and resilient infrastructure. Many of these initiatives will continue beyond the official action week.
