Fire Protection
The municipal library in Hildesheim houses both books and prints, some of which are of historical value. This fact and the type of use of the building with public access had to be incorporated into the fire protection concept and taken into account separately. By separating the central area beyond the air space on the first floor, the building was zoned in such a way that the architecturally desired spaciousness could be realised. In addition to the development of the fire protection concept and site supervision during construction, the fire control matrix was created up to the third level and fire brigade, escape and rescue plans and fire safety regulations were developed.
