The building concept was characterised by energy minimisation. The indoor climate concept includes concrete core temperature control with simultaneous natural ventilation via the atrium. The natural ventilation of the atrium is achieved solely through thermal buoyancy without any technical support. For this purpose, there are supply air openings on the ground floor and first floor and the exhaust air openings are located in the shed roof above the fifth floor. In addition to the ventilation, the shed roof also regulates the shading and lighting of the atrium, which required special fire protection solutions due to the height across the storeys.
