The property on Helene-Mayer-Ring was built in 1970 as part of the Olympic Games in Munich and is therefore part of the original ensemble of the Olympic Village. High-quality refurbishment measures have optimised the energy efficiency of the building to the latest state of the art and equipped it with 320 prestigious, fully furnished studio flats. The interior design of the flats is tailored to a discerning clientele. The furnishings impress with intelligent details that make modern life more pleasant. With a height of 79 metres, it is the tallest residential building in Munich.
Müller-BBM Building Solutions central task was to deal with all issues relating to building acoustics and sound insulation during the renovation. In addition to the development of all essential sound-technically required constructions, acoustic specifications for contract awards and negotiations were also provided. Due to the existing situation, many detailed questions had to be decided directly on the construction site, which required in-depth sound engineering knowledge and practical construction experience as part of the construction supervision activities. The goal of fulfilling the promised increased structural sound insulation after the refurbishment was achieved and is documented by extensive quality tests carried out on the construction site.
