The "Park-Quartett Schwabing" project by Demos Wohnbau in Munich comprises the construction of four point blocks with a total of 62 residential units in the western part of the former radio barracks. The architectural grouping of the houses creates an appealing interior with a high quality of living. The façades are designed with timber post and beam constructions.

Our advice focused primarily on the energy efficiency of the project and thus achieved the targeted maximum standard of KfW Efficiency House 40.

Another focus was on the structural sound insulation, which is of a higher standard and was confirmed by acoustic acceptance measurements. The minimized noise pollution has resulted in a high quality of living for the residents.
