Thermal Insulation & Energy Performance Calculation
Between Weißenburger Platz, Lothringer-, Pariser- and Rosenheimer Straße (so-called redevelopment block 22), MGS created an interesting ensemble between old and new. Three modern residential buildings were created in the gap between the buildings on Lothringer Strasse, in which 19 flats and two commercial units were realised. The inner courtyard is used as a path and connects the new buildings with the corner building at Rosenheimer Str. 87.
Comprehensive building physics advice was provided for the project, i.e. thermal building physics, noise protection inside the buildings and noise protection against noise pollution from the busy Rosenheimer Strasse, both for the common rooms in the buildings themselves and for the outdoor area with children's playground in the inner courtyard. Vibration studies were also carried out on the impact of the main S-Bahn line on Rosenheimer Strasse.
