With the realization of the new publishing house in Baierbrunn, the founder of Wort & Bild Verlag, Rolf Becker, has also created his own chamber music hall. The publishing building, the concert hall, which can also be used as a seminar and event room, and a sculpture park in the extensive garden form a harmonious ensemble, which is characterized by the two great passions of the founder of the publishing house - art and music.

The centerpiece of the entire complex is the rectangular chamber music hall with a volume of almost 2000 m³. With a fixed amphitheater-like audience arrangement, it offers 181 seats with a very good view of the musicians on the flat podium area. The architectural-acoustic room concept provides for wall and ceiling cladding made of wooden slats between concrete ribs. Behind these slats - invisible to the visitor - are the main acoustic elements for sound control and variable sound absorption.

The entire building is equipped with a comprehensive automatic fire alarm system and smoke detection alarm. The security concept also includes an integrated security power supply. Thanks to the efficient combined heat and power generation of the combined heat and power plant installed in the building, it was possible to fall below the permissible primary energy requirement in accordance with the Energy Saving Ordinance by around 30 %.
