The new building was integrated as a redensification at the rear of a listed Berlin courtyard. Thanks to the use of prestressed concrete structures, the rear building provides column-free office landscapes, ideal for new economy, start-ups and film production, as well as a cinema with 57 seats. An oval atrium in the basement provides event space for workshops and exhibitions.

The office building complies with EnEV 2016 standards. Particular challenges arose when connecting new and existing parts of the building, for which pragmatic solutions were found for thermal insulation and sealing. In addition, increased sound insulation was required and a cinema on the first floor was integrated under office space that needed to be protected. The transparent façade of the cinema was designed in such a way that there would be no unacceptable disturbance in the neighborhood due to sound radiation.
