As part of a low-cost residential construction project, type houses were developed that were characterized by simple structures. The houses present themselves as plastered structures with a discreet, horizontal plaster structure and a perforated façade with closed parapets and few window formats. The design and materiality create an atmosphere of security and protection on the one hand and order and structure on the other.

The primary aim was to effectively meet the requirements of cost-effective residential construction without neglecting the aesthetic and functional qualities.

Another key aspect was the integration of improved thermal insulation to ensure energy efficiency. The consultation included the selection of suitable materials and construction measures in order to meet the increased thermal insulation requirements.

Special attention was also paid to the challenge of implementing structural measures to protect against external noise. In close cooperation with the client, solutions were developed to ensure optimum sound insulation and at the same time simplify the complexity of the construction measures.
