TenneT GmbH carried out a construction project at the Lehrte operations center that included the expansion of the administration building and the adaptation of an existing building. This project was divided into two main phases: The project involved both the construction of new parts of the building and the conversion of the existing building and canteen. The overall aim was to optimize the infrastructure in order to meet the growing requirements and make work processes more efficient.

The consultancy included building and room acoustics, thermal building physics and sealing technology from the preliminary planning stage through to the award of the contract. In addition, we were involved in the construction supervision in the area of thermal insulation and energy balancing, with the aim of implementing the "KfW Efficiency House 55" standard for the new building. Due to the proximity to rail traffic routes and commercial operations, comprehensive planning was carried out in the area of noise protection against external noise. The acoustics were specially optimized for flexible office working environments with a conference landscape, fitness room and company restaurant.
