With Rulantica, an indoor water world has been created right next to Europapark, offering a variety of unique, Nordic-themed water attractions on an area of over 30,000 m².
Together with the Hotel Krønasår, which opened six months earlier, the overall construction project is one of the largest privately financed construction projects in Baden-Württemberg.

A key focus of the consultation was the development of suitable room acoustics measures to reduce the high volume levels often found in leisure pools. Various sound-absorbing measures were investigated and optimised on the basis of room acoustic simulations. An auralisation was used to make the different scenarios audible and thus tangible for the client and the planning team for decision-making purposes. The focus was also on thermal insulation issues, which required special solutions due to the climatic conditions typical of bathrooms.
