A piece of the city within the city has been created on Turmstrasse/Stromstrasse in Berlin-Moabit. The Schultheiss Quartier on the former site of the Schultheiss brewery is a combination of historically renovated existing buildings and new buildings with multi-storey mixed use with up to six upper floors and two basement floors. The center of the complex is a continuous mall that combines stores, grocery stores, specialist stores and restaurants on the first two levels above ground.
New additions include a hotel in Turmstrasse and an extension for residential purposes in Perleberger Strasse. In the parts of the building that are still partly listed (coach houses, villa, ballroom, brew house, boiler house and engine house), revitalized
areas were created for fitness, commercial and office use.

The consultancy focused on implementing the high acoustic and energy requirements in the diverse and extremely varied areas of use. The expectations of the various major users for a high-quality and regular design of the interior areas were implemented in a targeted manner, taking into account the existing structural possibilities. Due to the inner-city location, a whole range of noise immission issues had to be resolved to protect the surrounding neighborhood. Particular consideration was given to the operational requirements of a shopping center or hotel.
