With the construction of a new high-rise building on the site of the publisher's own printing plant in Munich-Fröttmaning, SV is bundling the SV companies, which were previously scattered across the city, in one location. The building design includes a high-rise tower with an adjoining low-rise building. The tower and low-rise building are connected by a hall-like foyer. The overall concept of the building includes the possibility of natural ventilation via a double façade with wind-protected solar shading. In addition, the building is thermally stabilised via a thermally activated ceiling.

Müller-BBM Building Solutions had already provided advice on shading and vibrations during the development planning process. As part of the planning, services were provided for thermal building physics including verification in accordance with EnEV as well as for building and room acoustics. The assignment covered service phases 1 – 4 according to HOAI and also included the complete preparatory work and coordination for the general contractor tender. One focus of the consultancy was the development of a viable concept for the room acoustics of the office workstations, all of which are of very high quality. The interaction of the acoustics with the building component activation had to be taken into account extensively.
