The curved floor plan of the 10-storey office and commercial building planned by Mark Braun Architekten is reminiscent of the shape of two bananas offset from each other. A stepped forecourt leads to the prestigious covered main entrance in the connecting structure known as the "Liftlanding Area". The ground floor and basement contain shopping arcades with direct access to the suburban railway.
Thanks to the interaction of all the sub-disciplines provided by the Müller-BBM Building Solutions office, it was possible to develop a holistic solution for this project with high overall thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire protection planning specifications. The main facade of the building was designed as a double-skin element façade with sun protection arranged in the space in between. Müller-BBM developed a special construction with profile and sealing geometries adapted to the increased requirements of the polygonal, partially rounded facade design. Parts of the building were designed as a classic mullion and transom facade.
