The 8-storey office building with its Y-shaped layout is located in the centre of Munich's district Schwabing. The general restoration of the building included the redesign of its facade and foyer as well as the addition of an extra storey.

During the restoration, the existing vertical sliding and tilt and turn windows as well as the majority of doors were preserved. The former sheet facade was largely replaced by ceramic covers creating the facade's characteristic meander structure. Other parts of the facade were redesigned by using fibre cement boards. The new and now spacious foyer is accessible via a bridge.

The new facade areas resulting from the addition of the extra storey on the flat roof of the 8th floor were realized as a post-and-rail con-struction. Double-glazed windows with integrated sun shade and glazed doors to access the terrace serve as openings.
