The globally active company OMICRON has expanded its site in Klaus. The new building has created 200 high-quality workplaces and additional storage space. The basic idea of the existing building with variable office cells and inner courtyard was taken up and extended by three new inner courtyards along the main road. An intensive green roof compensates for the loss of green space caused by the construction work.

The two-storey wooden sculptures, which were specially developed for this project and serve as a rest and relaxation zone, are a special architectural feature. "Zeppelins" distributed throughout the building act as innovative meeting islands and ensure a high level of confidentiality thanks to their clever arrangement and interior design. The sound insulation for the offices was designed in such a way that the partition walls can be flexibly installed and removed on the floating screed in all axes of the building. Particular attention was paid to ensuring sufficient acoustic separation between the corridor zones and the horizontally adjacent offices in order to avoid disturbances caused by impact sound transmission as far as possible. Highly sound-insulating glazing and high-quality partition wall constructions guarantee the desired confidentiality in the sensitive meeting and seminar rooms.
